Founder, Andrew Sparks, began Sparks Entertainment in 2006.  At that time, Sparks Entertainment consisted of a single DJ and a pair of speakers specializing in backyard parties and sweet sixteens.  Through word of mouth advertising, Sparks Entertainment began to get traction and they were soon providing DJ services for schools and other organizations. By 2008, Sparks Entertainment consisted of three DJ’s and was able to put on three events simultaneously.

While away in college, Andrew Sparks met Gil Welsford, Jr.  After many sit downs in Starbucks, Andrew had fully shared his vision for Sparks Entertainment and Gil saw tremendous potential in the business plan.  Gil, with his skills in business marketing and growth, was exactly what Andrew and Sparks Entertainment needed to take the company to the next level.
